We are pleased to invite Cricket players to participate in Boolean Corporate Cricket League 2023 Jaipur. Tournament is exclusively for corporate players. Event will be held in Star Cricket Grounds Jaipur from 10th June 2023. So, shutdown your laptops for a weekend and play your passion in the play field.

BCL RULES & REGULATIONS

  • Different Company employees can tie up and make a team.
  • Team NAME & Logo is Mandatory
  • Tournament is only for corporate players. ID cards are compulsory or HR letter must be produced on the day of the event.
  • Matches will be played in day and nights.
  • All teams are must wear Team T-shirts and black Track Pants for Matches.
  • T-Shirts will be given by organisers
  • Players should bring their own essentials.
  • Organizing committee has all the authority to disqualify team/player if they are not obliging to rules of tournament.
  • Registration to tournament done by online mode only.
  • Spot registration includes extra charges.
  • All the players are provided with refreshments.
  • The teams have to submit the player list of 15 (as mentioned or intimated in tournament rules or otherwise) players list along with passport size photograph (softcopies) while submitting the tournament fees.
  • No metal spiked shoes shall be allowed.
  • Bowling will be with green tennis seasoned balls which will be provided by organizers.
  • Batting team players will sit in the player’s enclosure/dugout. Only one person per team will coordinate with the scorer.
  • The umpires shall be the sole judges of the event, in all matters concerned even in the case of ground, weather and light etc.
  • Each team will bat for the entire 15 overs of league matches unless all out earlier. No side can declare the innings
  • ICC T20 Rules will be followed with exemption of 15 overs league matches

FORMAT: ICC

  • T 20 match format involves two teams, each with a single innings. This cricket tournament is based on the same T20 rules as that of ICC, with the exception on the format and the number of overs.
  • The Laws of cricket apply to T20, with some exceptions:
  •  League matches will consist of one innings per side with each innings being limited to 15 overs per side excluding extras and Semi-final & final with 20 overs.
  • For 15 Overs match – Each bowler may bowl a maximum of 3 overs only & for 20 overs match each bowler may bowl a maximum of 4 overs only. This is not inclusive of the super over in the case of a tie.
  • For 15 Overs There will be Power Play for first 4 overs of each innings & for 20 overs match there will be power play for first 6 overs of each innings

Fielding restriction: –

  • A Maximum of 2 fielders allowed outside the inner ring for first 6 overs/ power play.
  • A maximum number of 5 fielders at all time (except power play) (excluding the wicket keeper and bowler) to be outside the inner demarcated area.
  • The umpire may add extra time to the stipulated 90 minutes if they believe the batting team is wasting time. The batting team will have its score reduced by 15 runs per 4 minutes of delay.
  • The umpires will impose these penalties, which will be final upholding keeping the spirit of the game, in a fair manner.
  • Every Team is required to report a minimum of 30 mins prior to its playing schedule as per the time sheet. Any team starting their innings late will automatically forfeit runs as explained above. A walkover also can be awarded.

The duties of the captain are outlined below:

  • Ensure that all team members have desired outfit / uniform
  • Attend all official events as required
  • Ensure that the team arrives at the match on time
  • Fills out and hands a copy of the team sheet to the umpire and opposing captain and notifies Management of any players that are playing
  • Toss the coin
  • Hands the game ball to umpires at the conclusion of the match
  • Ensure that the team and all players play within the Spirit of Cricket and adhere to the rules and regulations outlined
  • Approach the umpire for any clarification
